- IT DIRECTOR
Description
The School IT Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of technology operations across Cascade School District. This includes oversight of infrastructure, cybersecurity, device management, and user support. The Director supervises, directs, and trains the Desktop Support Technician and other employees who assist in providing technology services and ensures responsive, high-quality technical service delivery to district staff and students. This position plays a key role in aligning technology systems with educational goals and operational efficiency. Cascade School District supports the following platforms: Windows-based laptops and desktops and iPads to a lesser extent.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in IT management, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with educational software platforms.
- Experience with network administration and user support.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in training technical and non-technical staff.
